Privacy Policy

Last updated January 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Conceptual HQ, Inc. (“Conceptual,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website at conceptualhq.com (the “Site”), and when we provide our advertising and SEO management services (the “Services”) to our clients.

Conceptual is an AI-native growth agency. We manage paid advertising and search-engine-optimization programs on behalf of business clients. This means we act in two different roles:

  • As a business (“controller”) for our own Site and marketing — for the information we collect from visitors to conceptualhq.com and people who contact us.
  • As a service provider (“processor”) for our clients — for information we handle on a client’s behalf to run and measure their advertising campaigns. When we process personal data on behalf of a client, that client’s own privacy policy governs, and our handling is defined by our Data Processing Addendum with them.

Information we collect

From visitors to our Site and people who contact us:

  • Contact details you give us — such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title — when you fill out a form, request a marketing roadmap, or talk to us.
  • Usage and device information collected automatically through our own analytics — such as IP address, device and browser type, user-agent string, online identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and how you interact with the Site.

In the course of providing Services to our clients, we process end-user information on the client’s behalf, which may include:

  • Identifiers — IP address, device and online identifiers, advertising identifiers, and user-agent strings.
  • Commercial information — products or services considered or purchased.
  • Internet activity — browsing and search activity and interactions with sites, apps, or ads relevant to a client’s campaigns.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve our Site and Services.
  • To respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and communicate with prospective and current clients.
  • To plan, run, optimize, and report on advertising campaigns — including conversion tracking and attribution — on behalf of our clients.
  • To measure marketing performance and develop new products and features.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We use information we collect on a client’s behalf only to provide the Services to that client. We do not “sell” or “share” (as defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws) personal information, and we do not use client data for our own unrelated purposes. We may create and use anonymized/aggregated data (from which no individual is identifiable) to maintain, improve, and promote our Services.

How we share information

  • Advertising and analytics platforms. To run and measure campaigns, we work with third-party platforms including Google, Meta, Microsoft/Bing, LinkedIn, Reddit, and similar advertising, analytics, and attribution providers (for example GA4, Mixpanel, and/or PostHog). Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted vendors for hosting, storage, infrastructure, payment processing (Stripe), and similar functions. They are bound by contractual obligations to protect the information and use it only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public. If we receive a legal demand for data we hold on a client’s behalf, we will, to the extent permitted by law, notify that client rather than disclosing directly.
  • Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. For personal data we process on a client’s behalf, we return and/or delete it within a reasonable period (generally within 30 days) following a verified request or the end of our engagement, except where retention is required by law.

Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal information. If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal data within systems we control, we will notify affected clients without undue delay and, in any event, within 72 hours. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar U.S. state laws, California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise a right, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your request before acting on it. If your request concerns data we process on behalf of one of our clients, we will refer you to, or coordinate with, that client, who is responsible for responding.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of many advertising cookies via industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).

Cookies and analytics

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including our own first-party Conceptual Analytics, to understand how the Site is used and to measure our marketing. These technologies may collect identifiers and usage information as described above.

International visitors

Conceptual is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
